The IIT JAM 2024 registration link is available on IIT Madras’s official website The exam will be conducted on 11 February 2024 in two shifts, morning and evening. Furthermore, the IIT JAM is conducted in CBT mode for seven (7) subjects namely:

  • Biotechnology (BT)
  • Mathematics (MA)
  • Economics (EN)
  • Geology (GG)
  • Chemistry (CY)
  • Physics (PH)
  • Mathematical Sciences (MS)

IIT JAM 2024 Registration Fees

IIT JAM aspirants can appear for one or two subject papers as per their wish. However, you need to keep in mind that IIT JAM is conducted in two sessions (morning and evening). Moreover, the seven exams are divided among the two shifts which means, if you’re planning to appear for two subject exams in IIT JAM, then you’ll have to choose the two subjects carefully so that they don’t clash in the same shift.

  4. Log into your account using your mobile number and password you just created.
  5. Select the number of test papers along with the paper names.
  6. Fill in your personal details, ID proof, and declarations.
  7. On the next page, provide your address details and continue.
  8. Fill your education qualifications on the next page along with college/university names.
  9. Upload the required documents on the next page including your picture, class 10th marksheet, caste certificate and signature.
  10. Confirm the details you provided on the next page and proceed to payment.
  11. Make your payment and download/print your application form of IIT JAM 2024.
