GATE COAP Counselling 2025
The GATE result 2025 has been released by IIT Roorkee on March 19, 2025, and the Official GATE Cut off as well as the GATE Score card have been released on March 28, 2025. COAP registration has started from March 27, 2025. Candidates who have qualified GATE Exam in the years 2023, 2024, 2025 and seek admission in M.Tech to prestigious IITs must register for COAP Counselling 2025. COAP and CCMT are the two modes of counselling.
The authority IISC has commenced the COAP counselling 2025 on March 27, 2025. IIT aspirants have to register on the COAP Portal Counselling 2025 for M.Tech courses, apart from applying to various institutes.
CCMT counselling is held for admissions to NITs and IITs. GATE 2025 COAP is a portal where candidates can check their results and seat allotment for admission into PG engineering in IITs and IISc Bangalore. During counselling, candidates must have to fill in their choices for institutes and programmes.

What Is COAP?
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, commonly known as COAP, is a platform where all IITs and IISc publish the results of seat allotment for admission in M.Tech programmes. Candidates who have a valid GATE Score of the years 2023, 2024, 2025 can apply for GATE COAP counselling 2025. With the help of the COAP counselling portal, 2025 candidates can check their allotted seats and accept or reject seats.
GATE COAP Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants make sure that they fulfil the required criteria before proceeding with the COAP Registration 2025 process. GATE COAP Registration 2025 Step-by-Step Process
To complete the registration process for COAP registration 2025, applicants are advised to go through the step-by-step process given below
Step 1: COAP registration 2025: get COAP ID and Password
- Visit the COAP registration Portal and click on new registration
- Enter details of GATE paper(s) and click on register now.
- Applicants can register for other papers too.
Step 2: COAP 2025 Login and Dashboard
- Upon successful registration, applicants can log in using their COAP ID and Password.
- Applicants can access the dashboard of the applicant’s details for the GATE paper and the list in COAP
Step 3: Adding Other Papers
- Under the applicant dashboard, navigate to add other GATE papers in the column
- Applicants can delete the added GATE paper if necessary
Step 4: Final Submission
- Applicants are highly advised to check the details carefully after confirmation click on Final Submit.
- Note that you can’t change data after final submission
GATE COAP Counselling 2025 Rounds
COAP offers admissions in IITs and IISc for M.Tech programmes on a round-wise seat allotment process. Candidates who have a valid, qualified GATE score card can apply for admission to the Institutes.
COAP counselling 2025 will feature multiple rounds of counselling where candidates can view and accept offers from various institutes based on their GATE score. COAP offers two rounds of counselling, i.e. main round and additional rounds.
