As per NTAs (National Testing Agency) latest notification there are a few changes in the registration dates and correction window dates for the joint CSIR-UGC NET examination. We did our research and here is everything that you need to know about the changes. So let’s dive right into it!

Extension of CSIR-UGC NET Application Forms

Previously, the last date to apply for the joint CSIR-UGC NET examination was 10th April 2023 but now, interested and eligible candidates can register for the examination till 17th April 2023. Since the registration date for the examination was extended, the correction window for joint CSIR-UGC NET has also been revised. The correction window was supposed to be opened from 11th – 18th April which has been rescheduled for 19th – 25th April. If any candidate makes any mistakes in their application form, they’ll be able to change it during the correction window. However, there is a limit on the mistakes that you can correct, some of them are mentioned below:

  • Name, date of birth, gender, email address, contact number, and other personal information
  • Institution Name, Date/Year of passing, obtained marks
  • Photograph & signature
  • Reserved category details

Note: You must make sure that you’re filling all the details correctly on the very first time and if you have made any mistakes, correct them while the correction window is open or else your application might get rejected.

NTA has not made any changes in the dates of examination so as for now, the CSIR-UGC NET exam will be held from 6th to 8th June. This is a golden opportunity for all the students who missed the application dates and should definitely register for the examination.
