The much-awaited CSIR NET December 2023 exam dates are finally released along with other important dates for the examination. As per NTA’s latest bulletin, the CSIR NET December 2023 exam will be conducted from 26th to 28th December 2023.

What is CSIR NET?
For those who are new to the exam, CSIR NET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted to test eligible aspirants for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) from reputed Indian colleges and universities.
CSIR NET is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted twice a year, in June and December for 5 subjects namely Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Earth Sciences. CSIR NET December 2023 Age Eligibility Criteria
As per NTA’s latest age eligibility criteria for CSIR NET, candidates applying for JRF shouldn’t be older than 28 years old. However, there is an age relaxation of upto 5 years for reserved categories. On the other hand, there is no upper age limit for aspirants appearing for Lectureship or Assistant Professor.

As of now, NTA has just released the examination dates for CSIR NET December. Moreover, there have been no updates about the registration period or result declaration dates so far. Below is the table with all the updates on the examination so far:

How to register for CSIR NET December 2023?
NTA has not launched any portal for registering for the CSIR NET December 2023 exam so far. However, the application process is more or less the same. We will bring a dedicated video on our youtube channel and blog on how to register for CSIR NET December 2023 when the portal is live.
Here is the registration process for CSIR NET December 2023:
- Go to CSIR NET official website csirnet.nta.nic.in
- In the left column, click on the New Registration Link
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.
- Fill out the required details and create a password for your candidate profile.
- On the next page, fill the required details one by one. Personal Details > Aadhar details > Exam & Center Details > Qualification Details > Additional Details
- Upload the required documents and submit your application.
- Review your application and proceed to payment
- Make your payment to register for the examination.
